Using it safely
- Treat it like your lap: supervised and relaxed, sitting or standing still. It's not for walking around.
- Your pet's head goes out through the opening. Keep the opening loose, with two fingers' room, and never tighten the cord lock around their neck.
- If your pet wants out, unzip the chest seam and let them go.
- If your cat chews strings, pull the hood drawstring out before use. Swallowed string is a vet emergency.
- It's a warm hoodie. Watch for panting, and don't use it in the heat.
Washing
Wash before first wear and follow the care label sewn inside the hoodie. Lint-roll pet fur off before washing. Fleece stays softest out of a hot dryer.
Your first week
Night 1: wear it on the couch after dinner with the chest seam unzipped. Don't put your pet in; let them investigate. A treat inside helps.
Nights 2–4: same spot, same time. Most pets decide by now.
If they climb in: guide their head out through the opening, keep it loose, sit still, enjoy it.
If they won't: that's fine. Some pets just don't. Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, pet hair and all.
